Cellpix Shelter Island Tour
Below you’ll find pictures and accompanying captions that thoroughly examine a Labor Day weekend on Shelter Island, NY.

We arrived by Hampton Jitney in Greenport as our efforts to carry bikes onto a “peak” train were thwarted by authorities.

One of the first things we saw was this old Plymouth on the ferry from Greenpoint to Shelter Island. It was perfect.

That night, we grabbed a late night bite at The Dory. All the locals order off the menu, which is great. Also, they had some unusual decor.

The B&B that we were staying at, House on Chase Creek (which comes highly recommended), was full so the owner offered us this house for the weekend at the price of a normal room.

Our mantlepiece.

Nancy on Shell Beach.

I got one of the best haircuts I’ve ever received at the only barber shop on the island.

We had high tea in Greenport.
